Dr. Alisha Moreland Capuia is the Founder and Director of McLean Hospital's Institute for Trauma-Informed Systems Change, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and an Affiliated Faculty member of the Center for Law and Behavior. Frequently tapped to advise on matters of medicine, public health, systems change and education, she is the sole author, of Training for Change: Transforming Systems to be Trauma-Informed, Culturally Responsive, and Neuroscientifically Focused and The Trauma of Racism. Her Publications also include Reframing Narratives as a Means of Building Self-Efficacy in Medical Students and is featured in local and international news.
